Step One Behavioral & Residential provides a structured continuum of outpatient recovery care designed to support individuals transitioning from residential treatment or maintaining long-term recovery.
Our outpatient programs expand Step One’s continuum of care by providing structured therapy, clinical support, and peer-based recovery services without requiring residential stays. These programs allow individuals to continue their recovery while gradually returning to work, family responsibilities, and independent living.
Step One’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides the highest level of outpatient clinical support. This structured, day-based treatment program offers intensive therapeutic services while allowing clients to live outside the facility.
PHP is often recommended for individuals transitioning from residential treatment or for those who require a higher level of support than traditional outpatient care.
Services Include:
Schedule:
Five days per week, approximately 5–6 hours per day.
Goal:
To stabilize recovery, reinforce coping skills, and prepare clients for independent living.
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides structured clinical support for individuals continuing their recovery while living independently or in transitional housing. This level of care helps bridge the gap between intensive treatment and full reintegration into daily life.
IOP allows participants to maintain work, school, or family responsibilities while receiving consistent therapeutic support and relapse-prevention guidance.
Many participants enter IOP after completing residential treatment or PHP, continuing their recovery journey with structured outpatient support.
Services Include:
Schedule:
Three to four days per week, approximately three hours per day (morning and evening tracks available).
Goal:
To strengthen accountability, promote emotional regulation, and support participants balancing work or school responsibilities.
The Outpatient Program (OP) provides continued clinical support for individuals who have completed higher levels of care or who need ongoing guidance to maintain long-term recovery. This level of care helps clients sustain progress while gradually reducing treatment intensity.
OP is designed for individuals seeking flexible, structured support while maintaining work, school, or family responsibilities. Our program focuses on treating substance use disorders and alcohol addiction through individualized care and long-term recovery planning.
Services Include:
Schedule:
Flexible scheduling, typically weekly or biweekly sessions tailored to client needs.
Goal:
To reinforce long-term sobriety, maintain mental health stability, and prevent relapse.
