How the Program Fits Together
A man rarely arrives at Step One with a single, clean diagnosis. There is the substance, and there is whatever the substance was answering. Treat the drinking and ignore the depression underneath it, and the depression eventually wins. Step One is structured to address both inside one residential program, with one team, rather than sending a man across town to have half of himself handled.
Everything below is part of the same program. The pages exist so you can find the part that fits your situation, but the care itself is integrated.
The Core of It
Step One’s residential program provides 24/7 supervised care for adult men, with individual counseling, group therapy, case management, medication monitoring, life skills development, and discharge planning.
