Opioid withdrawal is brutal and is safest handled with medical support. After detox, Step One’s residential program gives a man distance from the people and places tied to use, daily structure, and treatment for whatever the heroin was numbing in the first place.
Why Step One
Step One is a nonprofit residential facility for adult men, with licensed clinical leadership and on-staff nursing. Whatever the substance or condition, it is treated alongside the rest of what a man is carrying, by one team, in one place.
